About Joyce
Hi, I’m Joyce Vette, and it’s a privilege to be considered as your agent for your upcoming purchase or sale of your residential home.
My background and culture is Filipino, a people and culture with a reputation for hard-work, respect, and ambition – I have much to live up to but I won’t let you down!!
So my commitment to my clients is to provide first-class service and customer satisfaction. This is only possible by:
• making myself available;
• having a positive attitude;
• being prepared to ask and answer questions on your behalf;
• resolving problems, negotiating, and influencing;
• being honest and loyal, and;
• acting with empathy.
I enjoy helping people through the real estate process – it is a joy to see the faces of my clients light up when I’m able to deliver on the house or sale they are after.
While I like to deal with the detail, what I really enjoy about this career is the people I meet and the potential and positivity of the industry.
I believe it’s always a good time to buy or sell homes, because the transfer of such a big asset truly marks a significant turning point in anyone’s life. If you’re purchasing, I’ll take note of your most-important, non-negotiable criteria – and will provide the best available options, regularly updating you with the latest information and market choices. If you’re wanting to sell, I’ll list your property and market it in a way that accentuates its best features, appealing to the set buyers who value those features above all else.
I will take care of the marketing utilising both social media and mainstream advertising channels. Where appropriate, I’ll provide advice, ideas, and recommendations to make your property more appealing, always seeking a value-add component.
In terms of my background, I registered as a nurse in the Philippines in 2012, giving me a good deal of healthcare knowledge and empathy for others. After my move to New Zealand I studied toward a post-graduate management qualification in health.
Since that time I have spent time as a community support worker, and a psychiatric assistant at the Henry Bennett Centre at Waikato Hospital.
My greatest personal achievement however has been my transition to a career in real estate – which took me way out of my comfort zone. But I’ve simply loved the change, and I feel helping people into new homes or selling their property is perhaps my big calling; I’ve grown as a person and have learned to be open to new opportunities – it’s the best feeling I’ve ever had.
In my spare time I love watching movies, reading books, going to the gym, and spending as much time as possible with my daughter, treasuring each moment.
It's my privilege to be part of the Lodge team – I have the backing of the best knowledge and market data in the city. Give me a call now – let’s make it happen.
