Dean Abraham

Dean Abraham is Lodge Commercial’s Sales Manager and has been part of the commercial team since 2007.

With a Bachelor of Management Studies and a background spanning senior sales and general management roles, Dean brings broad business experience to commercial property.

He has consistently ranked among Lodge’s top performers, including six years as the company’s number one commercial agent, and is known for his market knowledge, communication, professionalism and practical approach to achieving strong outcomes for clients.

Jordan Metcalfe

Jordan forms one of the Waikato’s most formidable commercial and industrial teams, alongside his business partner Rebecca. Ranked in the top 5% of all Bayleys salespeople nationwide, together they have transacted more than $200 million worth of real estate, winning countless awards along the way.
With a background in advertising, Jordan has helped build some of the world’s most influential brands. This experience has driven his modern approach to real estate, making him an industry-leader in marketing and campaign strategy that ensures more people see his clients’ properties than any other.

Briar Shaw

Briar is a senior associate in the commercial property team at Tompkins Wake in Hamilton, working alongside partners Kate Hatwell and Scott Ratuki. 

Briar specialises in commercial leasing transactions and overseas investment, guiding corporate and private clients through every stage of a commercial property deal. 

For those new to commercial investing, Briar, and the rest of the Tompkins Wake commercial property team, regularly advise on the legal essentials, structuring purchases and leases, navigating due diligence, and managing overseas investment approvals, so investors can move forward with confidence and avoid common pitfalls.

Sarah Le Grove

Sarah Le Grove is a Director at CBRE New Zealand and a Registered Valuer based in Hamilton. With more than 12 years' experience across New Zealand and the UK, she specialises in commercial, industrial, retail, medical and childcare valuations.

Sarah works with investors, business owners, lenders and developers, providing advice on property values, rent reviews, insurance assessments and investment decisions.

She is passionate about making commercial property easier to understand, helping investors cut through industry jargon and gain a clearer understanding of the factors that influence property values and investment performance.

Jamie Powell

Jamie is a Partner at PKF Hamilton in the Business Advisory division , bringing a strong mix of public practice expertise and hands-on commercial experience from leadership roles in London, Melbourne and New Zealand.

Jamie has a broad commercial property client base ranging from “Mum and Dad” investors to large scale private-equity backed developments and everything in between.

Having worked across a range of industries, Jamie brings a practical, commercial lens to helping business owners make better financial decisions. His experience spans business structuring, cashflow and funding, management accounting, tax and investment analysis - all highly relevant when assessing commercial property opportunities.

Jamie enjoys cutting through the numbers to help clients understand the true financial impact of a property decision and how it fits within their wider business and investment strategy.

Ashley Martin

Ashley Martin is a Commercial Manager with ANZ Bank based in Hamilton with extensive experience helping businesses succeed.

Supporting business owners, property investors, and growing enterprises, Ashley provides practical guidance on lending structures, cash flow management, and long-term wealth creation strategies. Working with industry specialists to develop tailored banking solutions that support growth and sustainability for the Waikato.
