About Basil Lennan

Basil Lennan brings both his professionalism and an incredible work ethic together to deliver FIRST CLASS SERVICE in the Waikato real estate market. Having previously worked as a dynamic team alongside his brother Patrick, Basil stepped into the Manager’s shoes at the thriving Lodge Hamilton East office in 2018.

Over 14 years selling real estate has given Basil a deep insight into selling Hamilton property, and he has managed to successfully sell homes in both good and bad markets. Basil understands that no two situations or people are the same; but what is consistent is the need to treat every client with respect and understanding.

When it comes to selling your home, Basil believes that vendors should ultimately make the big decisions, but he does his utmost to fully inform them on all pricing and marketing options, giving them the support they need to make the right choice for their home.

Basil has an amazing rapport with past clients, and believes that it’s his approach to giving top notch customer service that achieves optimum results. Previously a co-director of a tourism agency, followed by multiple roles managing national sales teams in both NZ & the UK, Basil has unique business experience which makes him a highly successful salesperson. He has the knowledge, passion and determination to give both buyers and sellers an ‘easy’ real estate experience.

Aside from matching people to properties, travel is one of Basil’s passions – he loves discovering new people, cultures, foods, and landscapes. Often out and about in the community, Basil is also a rugby nut and until recently was closely involved with the Hamilton Boys’ High School 1st XV.

Like many clients, family is what is most important to Basil and that’s why real estate is so important to him and why he derives such pleasure from it. Property provides a home for many, and certainly some degree of financial foundation or security for most. In many ways it’s a means of providing for those we want to provide a future for.
