I met Sue Hall when she was selling 20 Keats Crescent in Enderley, Hamilton. My partner and I had gone to view the house with and for my daughter and her partner. We were disgruntled and in a state of despair after having viewed and lost a variety of other properties around Hamilton. Sue was professional and informative about the property itself, and she immediately made us feel worthwhile and hopeful about the buying process. We had expressed our concern over how difficult it is for young New Zealanders to purchase a house of their own in this highly competitive environment. Rather than fob us off as we felt other estate agents had done previously, Sue gave us hope and explained clearly how we could put in the most appealing offer to the vendors to buy the property. Sue was empathetic to our situation. She spoke kindly and calmly to our daughter. Once we had put our offer in, we had arranged a valuer to value the house as was required by the bank. The valuer was not helpful and was dragging out the process which was frustrating considering we were relying on this being done quickly. She was communicative throughout the whole process, and she gave Poppy the best advice as to how to make her offer to the vendors one that was accepted.
